A Day At Camp
Readings and Announcements
Every morning we will start the day out with the Bible readings and the daily announcements.
Classes
After the Bible readings we begin the morning classes. The kids go to their various classes while the adults listen to the speakers for the day. There are 2 classes, one from each speaker with a coffee break between.
Lunch
Make your lunch and enjoy the many afternoon activities that happen during the week.
Swimming, Boating and Sports
Head down to the beach at Lake Martin and let the kids play in the sand! Canoes and paddle boats are available to use as well. There is also a sports program that takes place on the large playing field.
Washrooms Closed
Every day the bathrooms will be closed for one hour for cleaning. Look for your name in the booklet because you may have a job to do during the week.
Special Activities
Monday: Sister’s Tea
Tuesday: Teddy’s Kingdom Picnic (Ages 0-6)
Wednesday: Beach Day (Longest Golf Drive, Sailboat & Canoe Races)
Thursday: Sand Castle Competition
Choir and Agora
Choir practices start at 3:30 PM and go throughout the week. Agora starts at 4:30 PM and is a time to discuss the classes with the speakers and ask any questions you may have.
Dinner
Prepare and cook your dinner and get ready for the evening program. Don’t forget to invite others to your site for dinner.
Tuesday: BBQ at the Hala
Evening Program
Meet back at the pavilion for the evening program.
Sunset
Enjoy a walk on the beach and watch the sunset over Lake Martin.
Fellowship at the Halah
Come down to the Halah to roast marshmallows and stay warm by the fire.
Teen Devotional
Young people gather for a devotional before heading off to bed.
Quiet and Lights Out
Camp sites are to be quiet by 10:45 PM and lights out by 11:45 PM.
